Special interests: She is a member of the British Menopause Society and faculty of Sexual Health and Reproductive Health, using her expertise in these areas to help with all types of contraception and problems with the menopause.

With her children both grown up and married she enjoys horse riding, through the New Forest, with Ollie a 15.2 Irish cob. She also enjoys running and is a keen amateur singer.
